Tubing is a fun and exciting way to experience the snow this winter. The winter play area is great for young kids, it’s even equipped with small snowmobiles. There are numerous areas near the resort to go tubing. Our partner resort, Soda Springs, offers a kid adventure play area complete with rope tows.

Winter Kite Skiing
If you enjoy light wind kitesurfing and making high jumps in moderate to strong winds, you probably want to try kite skiing on ice or snow. There are some terrific spots in the Tahoe Basin for beginners to advanced levels looking for some backcountry adventure.
